Email
Spam Mail - never reply to spam mail.
This just confirms that your email is valid and more of the same
email will appear in your inbox. To prevent spam be careful who
and where you supply your email address to. To prevent spam on your
system you can block users (refer to the help section of your mail
client) or install anti spam software.
Large emails - when you need to
send a file containing many files be aware many email clients such
as Hotmail have size restrictions. It is better practice to send
many smaller files than one large file.

Virus
Information
Viruses - most
viruses on PC's come from email. To prevent your system from contracting
a virus never open mail from someone you dont know, also be aware
even your friends or workmates may send you a virus so be wary of
any suspicious looking emails.eg emails that may contain personal
information and files you didnt request. The best method is to install
anti virus software. Once installed its a good idea to update this
software. Many programs have a built in function which allows you
to update quite easily and will often prompt you to update on a
regular basis. For a list of the most common current viruses.
